Leonard, Mrs. Gladys Osborne (1882-1968) A failed British actress who at age thirty-two took up the profession of spirit medium, at which form of theater she was hugely successful. Her main claim to fame was bringing a message to Sir Oliver Lodge from his son Raymond, who had died in war. Lodge was convinced of the validity of the message, but he was also convinced of almost everything else anyone told him, as well.
