We did it! A little later than the year-end goal I'd set, but the
JREF now has reached beyond the one million dollar mark in
Pigasus/2000 Club pledges. How about US$1,094,000? That's the
present total, and even today we received a couple more that need to
be verified and entered, as well. This is a prize that the potential
claimants simply cannot resist -- or so you'd think. But there's a
professor of physics at Stockholm University, Dr. Morner, who has
fallen remarkably silent after I offered him the US$971,000 amount.
Can he remain indifferent, now that the prize has increased by 13%?
Somehow, I think he'll make some sort of excuse for not accepting this
generous offer. But, we'll see . . . !

JREF memberships are continuing to come in, and if you aren't yet
aboard, I urge you to get aboard.

The A&E TV special is now scheduled for March 30th (Easter Sunday) rather than
the previously-announced date.

My Encyclopedia of the Claims, Frauds, and Hoaxes of the Occult and Supernatural
will be issued in paperback in April.

Off to Europe tomorrow.

The Curley matter continues to become more interesting every day. A
deadline will be reached on the 27th, and a report will follow here.

Another lawsuit (threatened, but not yet materialized) is proceeding
nicely. More about that when I can tell more. This is one against me
(can you imagine?) and is naturally of some concern.

And yet another nut out there is threatening to sue me just for
answering his e-mail. Is there no end to idiocy?

I'll stay in touch with e-mail while I'm away in frigid Holland and
Norway. And, just perhaps, Sweden . . .

Randi.
