The "Randi-Hotline" is going to become the official e-mail voice of
the JREF, We are changing the name to JREFInfo -- no need take any
action, except to make a new of the new request addresses, etc. You
will all remain on the list.
Scott Ballantyne -- who handles this list for us -- has served me and
the JREF very well, and we offer him our sincere thanks. He's a good
friend.
I'd like to inquire about your interest in attending a 3-day seminar
here in beautiful Florida, via the JREF, tentatively planned for
sometime in July. It will deal with experimental design and critical
approaches to paranormal claims. We have a bountiful list of speakers
to draw from, and I'm asking what you'd prefer to hear discussed, and
what your interest is in attending. We are trying to keep it down to
250 persons, so that more personal attention can be provided.
This is, please note, only a tentative inquiry. Should you be
interested in attending, please let us know. No obligation, at this
point, of course.
Exact dates, costs, etc., will follow, if we have enough expressed
interest.
I'm off to South Africa for five days, to the Grahamstown SciFest.
James Randi
