Watch for it on Wednesday....

James Randi --- Wizard (JREFInfo@ssr.com)

The upcoming issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association
(JAMA) will feature a quite remarkable article that has understandably
aroused the ire of the "Therapeutic Touch Network" (TTN). That
unhappy assembly of quacks has announced that the National Council
Against Health Fraud (NCAHF) is "a group out to 'get' alternative
therapies." Nonsense.

If the TTN is so paranoic about this matter, why don't they simply
establish that TT actually exists as an alternative healing modality?
The test, as we will all see on April 1, is simple and direct. Why, a
mere child could conduct such a test!

You won't have to look around for the excitement over the JAMA
article. The NBC-Today show, Tom Brokaw, AP, ABC Nightly News, NPR,
and all the heavy news outlets will inform you fully. Stay tuned!

And, on the 1st, the JREF will have an important bulletin on the 2000
Club million-dollar prize. Now, it's even easier to win! But only if
you have real psychic powers, of course.

Randi.
