Cynthia plays at science....

A PhD in nursing in Colorado has declared that Therapeutic Touch (TT)
operates on quantum physics principles, and so there! She claims that
it is "known that there is a sea of quantum energy between us and
extending from the body." This, she says, "moves faster than the
speed of light."

That's the reason, she says, that it's so hard to measure TT. Oh.
Now it's all clear.

Cynthia, Cynthia, Cynthia. Dipping into quantum physics may fool a
few folks, but your view of it is just plain wrong, silly,
unscientific, and juvenile. It's just nut stuff. I hope you're a
better nurse than you are a scientist.

Cynthia also states that the JAMA "are really a political organization
and feel threatened by human aura therapies that may take away their
power and money." Well, I'm aware that the AMA (not the JAMA,
Cynthia) is an organization set up to support the medical profession.
It is certainly at least partly political in nature. But as for this
chimeral "threat," I suggest that we are ALL threatened by
pseudoscience and quackery, especially when it is applied to medical
treatment. TT is quackery.

Cynthia, let's hear you accept the JREF's million-dollar offer, just
for detecting the Human Energy Field.....

Cynthia? Oh, Cynthia!!! Yoo-hoo! Where are you, Cynthia?

(The usual sound of chirping crickets is heard.)

embraces. PLEASE.
