Randi was interviewed by Gil Gross from KGO 810 AM at 5:40pm EST Tuesday (11/27). I have edited the entire show and provided only the 7 minute interview with Randi.

A local story on Mercury news.com regarding a Psychic scam which took place in Santa Clara County (San Jose). The article starts off:

Santa Clara County prosecutors are seeking possible victims of a San Jose psychic who is accused of bilking almost $500,000 from a client whom she promised to have cleansed of evil.

Needless to say Randi knows a great deal about how these "psychics" perform their scams and can give great information to the public on how to protect themselves from these types of scam artists.

I think I've driven by this psychic's shop, if it's the one I'm thinking of on Stevens Creek Bl. This isn't too far from Sylvia Browne's headquarters, which is a mile or two down Winchester (and past the Winchester Mystery House) from Santana Row. Pity they're not going after her too.

I applaud you for putting this information out there by continuing to report things of this nature. However, on a more personal level, I think if someone is so imbalanced and insecure, and so desperate as to pay thousands of dollars to a psychic for 'advice' they get what they deserve. Buyer beware. How can you have sympathy for someone who continually goes back for further punishment and on top of it pays? If they are so ignorant as to do this to begin with, I doubt they will come across this site to inform themselves otherwise. Keep fighting the fight though. The facts of what happened should be an example to others.
