What do you think when you hear Christians complain that they are discriminated against? It sound cheap and of course is BS. And I think to a large extent it is for atheists too. Ms Wachs did get in sheriff Judd's face, and he probably would have gone after Ms Wachs at that point no matter what her convictions were. It's not like he picked out of a crowd, like happens randomly to african-americans and gays. Don't cheapen our cause by playing "victim." Everyone wants to be part of an "oppressed minority." It's cheap and an insult to groups that have seen ugly true and extreme prejudice -it makes atheist claims appear dramatic and reactive.
