It's all human nature, we can't be 100% unbiased to our desires and our believes, but we can at least make the effort of looking for the whys. I must say that in my own little corner of the Universe, very few people I personally know use anything other than the "Defense Motivation" and "Impression Motivation" methods while discussing the issues of the day. From high school dropouts to PHD's, I've heard the words "I know what I know and I'm right!" far too often. Kyle, you must be very lucky to know a group of people who actually attempt to use the "Accuracy Motivation" way of discerning issues. PS. I don't personally know anyone who posts or comments here, so I hope that there are [b]not[/b] any responses to my comment accusing me of disrespecting "you."
