I dare not provide the name of my good friend who owns the X-wing... When he had it near the front of his property, it attracted far too much attention, and he had it moved back so that it is not now visible from his driveway...

It's cool, to say the least. The canopy closes down to seal out weather and protect R2D2, as well as the upholstery. There are a few circuit-boards in place on the control system - obviously the whim of the fabricator - and the only real electronics are in R2D2's body, to animate him/her/it and give the appropriate sounds...

Yes, cool...!

(I haven't told Sophia, so please keep it mum.)

I'd like to see some copies of those photos without captions pre-printed on them, if that is at all possible.

I got some caption ideas of my own... Don't worry they'll be very tasteful.
